Did you know that, according to studies, only about 8% of people actually achieve their dreams? Think about that. Yeah, I mean, out of 100 people, out of 100 people, only 8 are truly living the life they've always wanted. This means I'm going to be more specific this means 92% of people fall short of reaching their dreams. Why is this? What makes the difference between those who succeed and those who don't?
Speaker 1:Today, we're going to dive into a powerful technique that could help you get on the path to achieving your dreams. Hi guys, my name is Fabio from Journey to Success, and welcome. Today we're going to talk about how certain techniques are fundamental to achieve your dream. But before to go forward, please subscribe. So I know this is the right direction to lead you, to guide you, to drive you towards your journey to success, and let's go forward. All right, as usual. So, when it comes to dreams, many people feel stuck, confused or simply unsure of how to start. The good news is, there is a particular proven technique that can guide you toward turning those dreams into reality. This technique is not magic. It's a combination of mindset shifts and practical actions that anyone can apply. So by the end of this podcast, you will have a clear understanding of what this technique is and how you can use it to start moving towards your goals One step at a time. In this episode, we'll break down the challenge people face as well, and how this technique works, and share real-life stories of people who have used it successfully. So let's get started on this journey to make your dreams come true.
Speaker 1:So one of the biggest reasons people don't achieve their dream is self-doubt. We know that they might ask themselves am I really capable of this? This doubt keeps them from even trying. Another common barrier is the lack of direction. So people have dreams, but no clear plan, no clear direction on how to make them happen. So they feel overwhelmed by the steps they need to take and often end up doing nothing at all. You know we already talked about it in the previous episode. So then there is the fear of failure. We talk as well. We thought of trying. Not succeeding can be so terrifying that people choose to stay in their comfort zone rather than take a risk. You know this fear leads to procrastination, where people keep putting off their goals, try to postpone their dreams, thinking I'll start tomorrow or I'm not ready yet. You know, just stupid excuses. Lastly, some people struggle with the lack of support, so they don't have a circle of people who believe in them or push them forward, or they just believe inside a poor mindset circle. So all of these challenges combine create a huge wall between people and their dreams. So how do we overcome these barriers, guys? That's where the proven technique comes in.
Speaker 1:This technique is based on the principles of visualization, consistent action and positive reinforcement. Action and positive reinforcement it has been used by athletes, entrepreneurs and everyday people who have gone on to achieve remarkable things. So this technique has three steps, three keys, and let's see each other one by one. So step one visualization. So the first part of the technique is visualization. All right, this is not just daydreaming thing, it's a proper, focused mental practice. It's a proper, focused mental practice.
Speaker 1:Studies show that people who visualize their success before taking action are more likely to achieve it. Why? What is the reason? Because when you visualize, you create a mental map of what success looks like and in your brain starts working towards even before you take physical steps. A famous example of this proof technique is Michael Phelps, so the Olympic swimmer. Before every race, he would just visualize every stroke of the race in his mind. So this mental preparation helped him perform at his peak when it really mattered.
Speaker 1:Then we have the step two. Step two is taking consistent action. So what is it about? Visualization alone won't help if you don't take consistent action. Okay, many people make the mistake of doing something once and then waiting for results. But success from small, consistent steps over time.
Speaker 1:The key is to break your dream into smaller, manageable goals and focus on making progress every day, even if it's just a little. Think of the famous inventor Thomas Edison. So he didn't invent the light bulb overnight. The legend, as you know know, says it took him over 1000 attempts but he never gave up because you know, he understood that consistent action leads to breakthrough. This was the second point. Third point is positive reinforcement. So the final part of the technique is positive reinforcement. When you celebrate your small wins, you stay motivated to keep going. This is crucial because the journey to achieving your dreams can be long and tiring, but by acknowledging your progress you build the energy to continue. Acknowledging your progress, you build the energy to continue. One real-life example is Ofra for sure, who came from a difficult background but celebrated each small step in her career. So from her first radio job to becoming a TV host. She credits her success to staying positive and recognizing each milestone, no matter how small.
Speaker 1:Now here is the, let's say, the most important insight your mindset determines your success. So, if you believe you can achieve your dreams, you are halfway there. Okay, and this, what I'm saying, is not just motivational talk. Psychological studies have shown that people with a growth mindset, who believe they can improve and learn, are much more likely to succeed than those with a fixed mindset. Remember that. So it's not about how much smart you are, it's not about how much like you are. It's about how many times you fail and how much you can prove from these failures. Okay, so the turning point is realizing that it's not about being perfect or never failing. It's about having the mindset that every failure is a lesson and that every small step brings you closer to your dream. So when you combine this mindset with, we said, visualization, consistent action and positive reinforcement, you have the formula for success. Okay, Now let's recap a little bit what we have learned today.
Speaker 1:First, we explored the challenges that hold most people back Self-doubt, fear of failure, lack of direction and support. Then we dove into the proven technique for achieving dreams visualization, consistent action and positive reinforcement. So if you have a paper and a pen in front of you, just write it. Ok, this technique has been used by some of the world's most successful people and it can work for you too. Remember, the key is to start small and stay committed. Guys, Every step you take brings you closer to your dreams. That's what we are talking about. That's what this podcast talks about. Okay, Now I want to hear from you what is your biggest dream?
