Speaker 1:

Did you know that people with close friends are 50% more likely to reach their goals? This might surprise you, guys, but studies show that friendships play a huge role in our personal achievements. Whether it's in our career, health or personal life, friends can give us the support we need to stay motivated. Today, we're going to talk about the power of real friendship and how they help us achieve our biggest dreams. Hi guys, my name is Fabio from Journey to Success, and welcome.

Speaker 1:

Friendship is more than just having someone to talk to. Okay, true friends help us become better and grow. When we set goals for ourselves. Having real friends can make all the difference. Think about it. Without someone to encourage us, give advice or simply believe in us, it's easy to get lost along the way. In this episode, I'll show you how friendships help us stay on track and reach success. Whether it's starting a business, changing a habit or achieving a personal milestone, friends help us push through tough times, they keep us going when we feel like stopping and they celebrate with us when we succeed. And, of course, I'm talking about real friends. We all need this kind of support system, and today we will see just how important it is Just before to go forward. Please subscribe anyway. So I know this is the right direction to drive you, guide you and lead you towards your journey to success. And let's go forward, all right.

Speaker 1:

So reaching goals is not always easy. So you know, we know many of us try to do it alone, thinking that we must carry all the responsibility ourselves. But this can lead to feelings of isolation. When you feel like you are the only one facing your problems, it's easy to lose hope. That's the reality. Stress starts to build up and without someone to talk to, well, it can get overwhelming. Imagine trying to start a new business. Okay, so you might be working long hours, feeling stressed about finances and unsure if you're making the right decisions as well. So, without a friend to share your thoughts with, you might feel like quitting. That's one of the biggest challenges people face doing it all by themselves. Lack of support can also lead to procrastination. When no one is holding you accountable, it's easy to put things off. We all know the feeling of wanting to achieve something, but feeling stuck or unmotivated. It's in these moments that having a real friend can make all the difference.

Speaker 1:

Now let's explore some ways that friends help us achieve our goals. First point is, for sure accountability. So a good friend holds you accountable. If you told your friend that you want to work out three times a week, they can check in on you to make sure you are sticking to your plan. This makes you more likely to follow through because someone else is counting on you. The second point is the motivation.

Speaker 1:

Of course, we all have days where we don't feel like doing anything. Maybe you're tired or maybe you know you just don't feel like working towards your goal. In these moments, friends can give us that little push. A simple message like you got this can make all the difference. In these moments, friends can give us that little push. A simple message like you got this can make all the difference. Having someone believes in you or you are adopting yourself can revive your motivation. Third point is sharing resources. So friends can also provide resources that help you succeed.

Speaker 1:

Maybe a friend has gone through a similar situation and can offer advice, or maybe they have a book or video that can help guide you. For example, I remember a time when I felt stuck in my business, so my fiancé, who is my friend as well, realized that my voice was suitable for the podcast and to not give up this time, so that one recommendation helped me see things differently and kept me going. So let's break this down with a real life example also. So imagine you have been working on a project for months, okay, and you're starting to feel burnout. You are not seeing the progress you hoped for and you are thinking about quitting. But then a friend steps in. They remind you of all the hard work you already put in and they encourage you to keep going. So suddenly you feel like you have the strength to keep pushing forward. That's the power of a supportive friend. That's the power to have a real friend close to you.

Speaker 1:

Think about when you work on a project that feels overwhelming. You may start to doubt whether you could complete it or not, maybe ready to give up. But then you talk to a friend. They listen to you, they listen to your struggles and told you something simple but powerful. Like that you got this. I believe in you. That small comment can give you the motivation you need to keep going. In the end, I promise you, you can finish any project you have in your hands and, who knows, it can turn out to be a big success as well. Trust me, that moment can make you realize how much a friend's belief can push you forward. Sometimes we just need someone to remind us of our own strengths.

Speaker 1:

Now let's recap a little bit so what we have talked about today. Real friends help us reach our goals by keeping us accountable, motivating us and sharing resources, and the friend can be also your mother, your boyfriend, your sister, someone who believes in you. They believe in us when we don't always believe in ourselves. Isolation can make success harder, so you can still reach your success, but can be harder, and you know you can, and end up alone on your own. But with the right friends by your side, anything is possible.

Speaker 1:

It's important to surround yourself with people who lift you up and push you towards success. So remember, we all need a support system. Now I would love to hear from you guys have you ever had a friend who helped you reach an important goal?
