Speaker 1:

What are the best five tips for success by Kobe Bryant? What was his secret? Why he was so successful? What was his strategy? Hi guys, my name is Fabio from Journey to Success, and welcome. Today we're going to discover about these beautiful five tips that Kobe Bryant taught us in a podcast in the School of Greatness by Luis O, and I can't wait to discover with you these beautiful tips. Of course, before to go forward, just please subscribe, in case you think this kind of topic is something for you, so I know which kind of direction to take to show your journey to success and let's go forward. I mean, I cannot wait. So tip one Well, his first tip was have something to aim for it.

Speaker 1:

Have something to aim for it. Have something to aim for it. So, what is your purpose? What is your purpose? What is your core? What is your dream? What is your passion? If I'm gonna ask you right now what you like to do to achieve your financial freedom, right, what is your answer? And I mean, don't tell me something like, yeah, I want to become a YouTuber or a TikTokter or something like that. Really, what is your core? What is your purpose? That's very important to understand how to go forward.

Speaker 1:

Let's say that we are in a world without the internet, right, and I'm gonna ask you the same question and instead to answer me, uh, like, uh, I want to become a youtuber, maybe basis of a, the basis of a new reflection on a world without internet, he would answer me well, I want to drive shuttle. You know, he would never say to me I want to drive shuttle. He would say to me I want to become an astronaut, I want to see the space, I want to explore the space With a shuttle. Of course, the shuttle is a vehicle to reach your purpose and that is the same for YouTube, that's the same for the social media, that's the same for TikTok, that's the same for Instagram. Okay, it's just a vehicle and of course, you can explore this vehicle and you can. Meanwhile, you can be more patient about it, but that's just a vehicle. So, don't be patient about the vehicle, don't be patient about YouTube as tool, tiktok as tool, instagram as tool, twitch as tool.

Speaker 1:

No, what is your aim, what is your purpose? What is your? What is your aim? What is your purpose? What is your dream, what you want to do, what is your core? You have to discover this and you know our late kobe bryant.

Speaker 1:

He, he knew this, he knew that to go forward, he really had to believe he was the best basket player ever. This was number one. Number two show up every single day. You know there is this phrase from james clear and I'm sure you hear already. He used to say he says in his book if you do 1% better each day for one year, you will end up 37 times better by the time you are done, just because you show up every day.

Speaker 1:

You have been consistent, you've been persistent. You know, never give up. I mean, we like fast and quick things. Today we want to lose weight fast and quick things. Today we want to lose weight fast and quick. We want to reach 30 000 followers in one week. We want to lose 10 kilos in three days.

Speaker 1:

Now that's maybe truly impossible, but you know what I mean. And we're talking about a journey, guys. A journey to success, but required time. That's the reality. Because when, once you reach your learning phase right, first of all, you are more um, you appreciate more the time that you spent, because was it a time where you learn a lot through mistakes and failures? Second, with shortcuts, you don't reach anything, you don't learn anything, you don't teach anything. So just remember this and kobe bryant knew about it.

Speaker 1:

Number three don't take things personally. I mean don't, don't do. If you start to take things personally, then you're gonna start to build excuses, and when you start to build excuses, you literally build a voodoo stick in your brain. You build obstacles that you don't need. You don't need to find excuses. If you want to lose weight, don't say to yourself or to the people that you genetically are not good to lose naturally weight. You know what I mean. If you want to grow followers I'm just making the same example as before if you want to grow followers, guys, I mean, don't say that the algorithm doesn't love you because I don't know, the other guy has a better face than you. Don't put stick in your brain that you you don't need. You don't need them. Okay, this was a number three. Number four watch the tape.

Speaker 1:

So kobe bryant was very famous to look at his competitors, his opponents. So what were eating, what were they doing and if they were doing a vacation, which kind of diet, which kind of training? He was watching and studying everything about their opponents to become better. So to take something in a way to improve that particular thing and be better on that thing. All right, it's the same for you, right? I mean, if you have people close to you that are better on something, let's say that you have a friend that right now is doing better than you about Instagram or YouTube or diet. Let's give the same example. I mean don't be jealous, be collaborative. Be collaborative, be envy, be curious, learn from them. It's very important to learn from people who knows more than you. You have to study them. You have to study their strategy and understand their holes as well, understand their obstacles as well, improve them, improve their strategy.

Speaker 1:

Very important point, and at the end we have the number five rest at the end. So there is a famous quote about copper bryant. He used to say don't rest in the middle, rest in the end. Of course, it's important also to rest generally. When you rest, it's important to rest your brain in a way that you can process everything that you have done in a way to become better. But also it's important to not stop in the middle. So it's important to go forward, make mistakes, generate failures in a way to find the outcome. So that was the fifth point. So thank you guys for being here on Journey to Success, and if you like topics like that, please just put a like and see you in the next episode. Cheers.
